Summary
Nigerian logistics specialist Orlean invest celebrated their 25th Anniversary in October and Ethix teamed up with Flux events to provide a city-stopping event for the client. A celebration of the past 25 years culminating in a concert for the 10 000 attendees of both staff and invited guests including Nigerian president Good luck Jonathon.
The show was produced by John Farquhar Smith and Wrapt films created a documentary of the 25 year history that was projected on a 50m x 16m screen and a 25m VerTec stage supplied by Star events. Paul Jones from Ethix was the technical director and was responsible for all the sound lighting and video elements of the project. This involved 22 of 40ft containers being shipped and a further 16 tonnes of airfreight to ensure the delivery of the project on time.
The show was seen by an audience of 10 000 and involved an award ceremony for the employees, then a concert featuring Ciara, Tuface which headlined Akon.
